Accelerates the intermembrane transfer of various glycolipids. Catalyzes the transfer of various glycosphingolipids between membranes but does not catalyze the transfer of phospholipids. May be involved in the intracellular translocation of glucosylceramides.||Source:|Recombinant protein corresponding to aa2-209 from bovine GLTP, fused to His-SUMO-Tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli.||Molecular Weight: |~39.8kD||Amino Acid Sequence:|ALLAEHLLRPLPADKQIETGPFLEAVSHLPPFFDCLGSPVFTPIKADISGNITKIKAVYDTNPTKFRTLQNILEVEKEMYGAEWPKVGATLALMWLKRGLRFIQVFLQSICDGERDENHPNLIRVNATKAYEMALKKYHGWIVQKIFQAALYAAPYKSDFLKALSKGQNVTEEECLEKVRLFLVNYTATIDVIYEMYTRMNAELNYKV||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
