Additional Information | Sterilization: This product was aseptically filtered through a Millipore 0.22 micron filter into clean, pre-sterilized containers. The product was tested on trypticase soy agar for 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours and was found to be negative for bacteria. |
Reconstitution and Storage | Store container at room temperature (18C to 26C) prior to opening. If desired, the solution may be stored at 4C or less. Some salts may precipitate out of solution at lower temperature. Allow buffer to equilibrate to room temperature (18C to 26C) to restore solubility of some salts. Expiration: 6 (six) months from date of opening. |

Application Info | This product is a 10X concentrated stock solution and should be diluted appropriately with distilled, deionized water (or equivalent) to its final working concentration. No pH adjustment is required. All assays should be optimized by the end user. |
Purification | Meticulously prepared using ultra-pure reagents dissolved in highly polished pharmaceutical grade deionized water. Some yellow coloration of the 10X buffer may be observed. A slight coloration does not interfere with the performance of the running buffer. |

Description of Target | SDS-PAGE, sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, describes a technique widely used in biochemistry to separate proteins according to their electrophoretic mobility (a function of the length of a polypeptide chain and its charge) and no other physical feature.
