Polyphosphoinositide phosphatase, SAC Domain-Containing Protein 3 or Fig4/Sac3 is encoded by the gene FIG4. Fig4/Sac3. The hydrolyzing phosphoinositide signals is involved with cell processes including intracellular membrane trafficking, exocytosis, endocytosis and membrane transport. Fig4/Sac3 is found widely in tissues. Diseases associated with this gene include Polymicrogyria, Yunis-Varon Syndrome and Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease.
