The clone C-BL02, a mouse monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes a 95-kDa human type I transmembrane glycoprotein antigen known as CD19. It is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and expressed on B cells in all maturation and activation stages. CD19 is not expressed in resting or activated T lymphocytes, granulocytes, or monocytes in normal health condition. It plays important role in the development, activation, and differentiation processes of B cells through forming a CD21/CD19/CD81 B cell receptor complex.
