Useful for the recognition of keratinizing cells in squamous cell carcinoma of epidermis, lung, bladder, cervix, esophagus etc. Completely negative on non-stratified epithelia.

Positive control: human suprabasal keratinocytes of epidermis; squamous cell carcinoma.
