Product Description: GST-Sefinose Resin: The glutathione ligand is coupled via a 10-carbon linker to highly cross-linked 6% agarose. The coupling of Glutathione Sefinose-ml, 5ml and 10-ml column sizes.If removal of the GST moiety (a naturally occurring protein with Mr 26 000) is required, the tagged protein can be digested with appropriate site-specific protease while bound to Glutathione Sefinose or, alternatively after elution. Cleavage of GST-tagged protein bound to resin eliminates the extra step of separating the released protein from GST. The cleaved target protein is eluted using binding buffer.
